Editorial Intern

HerStry is looking for an editorial intern to join our small but mighty team.

Who we want:

Someone with a passion for sharing women’s stories, deeply rooted in justice, and a love for reading and writing.

What you’ll do:

• Work closely with the HerStry editors to keep abreast of the current editorial calendar.

• Read the HerStry slush pile, helping us sift through submissions faster and up our response time.

• Edit and upload work to the HerStry website.

• Read past stories to check for any editorial errors.

• Other duties as assigned.

While this is an unpaid position, interns are given free access to the Babes Who Write membership group and all of its resources. Interns are also invited to take part in all HerStry workshops and events free of cost.
