How to Write Flash
Flash fiction stories are snippets of entire worlds in small packages. Writing flash is its own reward, but it's also a great practice for novelists, memoirists and every other kind of writer. Writing flash loosens creative muscles, hones deep character development, and give sanction to skipping the boring in-betweens.
In this workshop, Finnian will guide readers through the anatomy of a flash fiction piece, with a bit of prompt-based generative writing to inspire participants to write their own flash. Geared toward first timers and experienced flashers alike.
All times are in the central time zone.
