Late Nights

Another late night out

It was after the show

on the strip

We sat under cozy heat lamps

warm and fuzzy

those feelings

There was laughter

clapping

food

sharing

we ate late

and talked a lot

got into things deep

and made it light

this wonderful late night

congratulating our dreams

 our visions shared

assisted

supported

smiles and tears

lovers, friends

we left happy

connected

back together again

 the late short drive home

got there fast

still high

 still floating

went down hard

sleeping in deep

 had a dream about ally hamilton

woke up happy

looked at the schedule

went straight to yoga

laid back

on the hardwood

stared at the ceiling

in gratitude

still high

still thinking

about last night

in awe

of it all
