Join us Thursday, March 18 for a Coffee and Craft Chat with writer Lorna Rose.
Crafting your Place: Writing Small and Writing Naked
Ever want to write about big issues but don’t know where to start? From introducing a character in your memoir or novel, to tackling a social justice issue to writing an essay about a complicated relationship, it can be difficult to begin writing about something big.
Lorna dives into literature about “small things,” and talks about why vulnerability is important in writing, and how to show it. Her workshop includes writing prompts, and is geared toward new poets and writers of nonfiction, although everyone is welcome.
