Social Media Coordinator

HerStry is seeking a Social Media Coordinator. The Social Media Coordinator is a part time contract job capped at 15 hours per month. Social Media Coordinator is responsible for:

• ·Creating and scheduling social media posts on Facebook and Instagram promoting HerStry’s publications, events, services, and submission openings

• Monitoring social media outlets for messages and comments and responding or redirecting appropriately

• Designing graphics in Canva as requested

• Other duties as assigned

 The Social Media Coordinator should be interested in keeping up with social media trends and must display proficiency with marketing best practices as they relate to Facebook and Instagram. Fluency with Canva is highly desirable. Experience using Squarespace and Later or a comparable scheduling platform is a plus.

Volunteer Reader

HerStry is seeking volunteer readers for our 2026 publication season. Readers are responsible for reading an average of 30 stories per month (sometimes more if the monthly theme is popular) and rating the work based on HerStry's mission to amplify women and nonbinary voices, plus their own personal taste. HerStry is seeking volunteer readers in order to diversify our website. We're looking for readers who have a strong sense of self and a passion for uplifting underrepresented voices in literature.
