Poetry & Play

Participants are invited to work through a variety of writing exercises that Morgan uses in her own creative process. These exercises are used to help attendees let go of their impulses and the idea of what they think they should say in order to explore what they are, in fact, actually saying. Each exercise will involve taking pen to paper to write your poem and with the option of reading aloud to the group.

Morgan is presently throwing herself into #PoemsOnPostcards, a project she began in July, 2020, which entails mailing free, original poems to anyone who asks for one. (which has so far seen nearly 150 poems sent across 14 countries.) She is constantly searching for new favorite words, more black clothing and the perfect design for her next tattoo.
