About Tia

Originally from the Bay Area, Tia Ikemoto graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Communication and a minor in Business. After discovering literary agenting—a dream career that has allowed her to work in the business of her biggest love, books—she completed internships at Writers House’s San Diego and New York offices before joining the Publishing department at ICM Partners in 2019. In 2022, ICM was acquired by CAA where she now has the privilege of representing a roster of talented authors from debuts to New York Times bestsellers that reach wide audiences across genres.
