In Cultivating Your Creativity we will discuss and practice techniques to get your creativity flowing. This is an interactive workshop with a free write to identity your blocked areas, a mind mapping demo, art journaling, and tips to take on the dreaded writer’s block. There will be space to try out these techniques! Writers are guaranteed to leave this workshop inspired and ready to write.
About Amelia:
Amelia Estelle Dellos (she/her) is a lifelong Chicagoan, an award-winning writer, and a filmmaker. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago and has taught writing and rhetoric at Roosevelt University and her alma mater. Recently, she became the managing editor of Unwoven Literary &Arts Magazine. This summer, she will attend the residential adult Kenyon College Writers Workshop. Her work has appeared in Spilledwords, Street Lit, Big Shoulders Press, Allium: A Journal of Poetry & Prose, PBS, Amazon Prime, and Highly Sensitive Refuge.
